Cape Cod: The "Cape" is located off the coast of Massachusetts and is a 70 mile peninsula surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Cod Bay and Nantucket Sound. There are a myriad activities available; such as a ride on a duck boat, a trip on a whale watching boats (see links below) or deep sea fishing. Biking is another popular summertime activity, particularly on the 3.5 miles Shining Sea Bile path from Falmouth to woods Hole, or the 26-mile Cape Cod Rail Trail from South Dennis to Wellfleet, or the 14-mile loop path along both sides of the Cape Cod Canal. Tourist enjoy walking along the beach at low tide with a stop at the John F. Kennedy Memorial. The Cape Cod National Seashore faces the Atlantic Ocean and has beautiful views, massive sand dunes and interesting walking trails to enjoy. Antique shops and creative art studios abound on the Cape, as well as beautiful seacoast, intriguing history, and a curious variety of museums, shops, playhouses, and many other attractions for adults and children."

Falmouth (pronounced FAL'mith, like Plymouth) is located in the southwestern part of Cape Cod. Falmouth, Cape Cod, Massachusetts is the home of Katharine Lee Bates, author of "America the Beautiful," the center of discovery of the HMS Titanic, the world-famous Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and the national headquarters of the International Wildlife Coalition. Falmouth, MA has the warmest waters more public beaches, coolest summertime breezes, some of the finest restaurants on Cape Cod. Nobska lighthouse is also located in Falmouth. Falmouth is an ideal base for day-tripping to areas such as Martha’s Vineyard, Newport, RI., Plymouth, Provincetown and Nantucket. Old Silver Beach...   "Perhaps the most famous and most often-visited beaches in Falmouth is Old Silver Beach. Located in North Falmouth, Old Silver Beach sits on Buzzard's Bay. It features perhaps the softest sand in Falmouth and is the location of one of Falmouth's most favorite sites, Sea Crest Resort."

The Sea Crest Resort is a resort in North Falmouth, Massachusetts, on Old Silver Beach. "Built by the University Players Guild in 1929 as a summer theater and the Tea Room Supper Club where many aspiring actors and actresses got their start. Among those destined for stardom were Henry Fonda, Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullivan. In 1942, Lou Walters opened the Latin Quarter, a hotel and dinner theatre on the site of the present-day Sea Crest Resort. Lou's daughter, celebrity interviewing Barbara Walters, grew up on the sands of Old Silver Beach. The property was purchased in 1962 by Ken Battles, Comedian Steve Hill, and Boston Celtics president "Red" Auerbach. The Sea Crest was converted to a year-round resort in 1971 and with expanded facilities, became a popular family resort.
